He was born on 2 March 1970, in Zagreb . He become involved in music at the age of 10 and at 16 he started playing percussions. When he was 17 he started playing with the groups (Dario Orioli Group, Quizas), with whom he performs for the first time. In 1989 he travels to London where, for a year and a half, he attends a private music school for percussions „Drumtech-Latin Percussion Studios“. After returning to Zagreb in 1991, he starts playing in a group Ritmo Loco , where he plays for 4 years and meets the most part of future Cubismo members.
In 1992 he starts playing with Mario Mavrin and Neven Frangeš in „Hammond Trio“ with whom he plays in „BP Club“ on a regular basis for 3 years.
In 1993 he starts playing with Boško Petrović, and becomes a member of „BP Club All Stars “. In this band he played and recorded with many legends of jazz music, such as Clark Terry, Bob Mover, Toots Thielemans, Gianni Basso, Philip Catherine, Csaba Deseo, Alvin Queen and Martin Drew. At that time he becomes more involved in the studio work and since then he has played as an instrumentalist on more than a hundred discographical releases varying from jazz, rock, funk, Latino, new-age, to mainstream pop music. One of the groups that he also works with at the time, on regular basis, is Parni Valjak , with whom he plays at all their concerts during two or three years and records with them several albums, starting with „Live in ZKM“.
In the fall 1995 he forms and manages his own band „ Cubismo “ thus merging all his musical interests; Latin music and jazz. In the last 10 years Cubismo has become one of the most important Latin –jazz / salsa band in the area. Cubismo cooperated with numerous Croatian, but also with the international music stars such as Juan de Marcos Gonzales, Manuel „Puntillita“ Licea, Teresa Garcia Caturla and Amadito Valdez from Buena Vista Social Club, with whom they recorded CD „Motivo Cubano“ in Cuba in 2000.
During these 10 years with Cubismo, he has released six albums that have been distributed internationally as well.
In Cubismo he got a nickname „ Cacique “, which is Spanish for chieftain. Besides Cubismo, he often works with jazz bands: Boilers All-Stars , Croatian Radio Television (HRT) Big Band and HGM Jazz Orkestar . When touring with these bands he had an opportunity to play with great jazz musicians such as Randy Bracker, Peter Helbozheimer, Bob Mintzer and Yellowjackets. In 2000 / 2001 he was a lecturer at the Music Academy in Zagreb, in the Percussion Department. Since 2005 he has been employed as a permanent member of the Theatre „Komedija“'s orchestra.

Awards:

-With Cubismo he received 20 discographical awards „ Porin“ , as well as other numerous awards.
-He received Porin for the arrangement, for the song Junglesalsa from the album of the same name in 2003, and Porin for the production of the same album.
-He received 6 Croatian Musicians Union Awards „ Status“ for the best instrumentalist, in the Other Instruments Category, that is, percussion. (1996, 1997, 2001, 2003)

-He received the award „ Crni mačak “ as the best rock instrumentalist in 2000.
